Tracking Function Makes Infrared Cameras More Intelligent
2019-08-02 16:33Based upon FPGA structure, a target tracking infrared camera accepts two streams of video inputs (daylight and thermal images) and comes out in one stream of combination in a picture in picture display. With that function, customers could easily check a point of malfunction between either single daylight, single infrared image or a mix of both, while keeping tracking function workable in any display.
Integrating template matching up algorithm, the series thermal cameras tracks a moving target at either 25Hz or 30Hz as data refreshment and follows any object whose speed is within 32pixels/frame, that endows the sensor with steady performance under interference caused by the movement of unmanned system or object passing by in the environment where the target being locked moves.
The function of target tracking makes the series of infrared sensors more intelligent in UAV/drone applications such as border defense, traffic violation, anti-terrorism etc.
