Five-mode Light-weight Gimbal-Beautiful Outside, Intelligent Inside

2019-05-24 15:26

According to Provinsional Regulation on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Exposure Draft) released by State Council and CMC Air Traffic Control Committee on Jan. 2018, the maximum take-off weight for light-weight UAVs has to be lower than 7kg. In accordance to the statistics that normally the payload would account for 4%-17% of take-off weight, then a gimbal for light-weight drones should weigh between 280g to 1.19kg, while most round-shaped dual-light gimbal systems in the market weighing 1.8-2.2kg, which creates a large market space for round-shaped dual-light gimbals as well as brings a big challenge for gimbal designers.

With years of R&D experience in gimbal designing, Irseen presents five-mode light-weight gimbal for fullfiling such needs.

Five-mode Light-weight Gimbal-Beautiful Outside

Integrating 4K, HD, SD RGB cameras and thermal camera all with prime lens as well as laser pointer, the five-mode light-weight gimbal made by Irseen achieves smooth digital zooming between different RGB cameras by multi-resolution switching technology and largely downsizes the lens, therefore, makes the gimbal system only weighs 800g.

Within the core, SD camera is designed for large field monitoring. Gimbal will automatically goes into HD camera (1X-2.2X) and 4K camera (2.3X-8X) when zooming in.

Moreover, it forms thermal+RGB picture in picture displays and tracks a target in any display modes by integrating tracking board together with all RGB and thermal sensors onto one hardware framework, realizing the parallel processing of distortion correction, partially-occlusion and video streaming transmission that lowers the system redundancy as a whole.
